Dropping Redo Log Files Failing With ORA-1623

现象：Unable to drop redo log files as failing with ORA-01623

SQL>Alter database drop logfile group 20;
Alter database drop logfile group 20
*
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-01623: log 20 is current log for instance i4 (thread 4) - cannot drop
ORA-00312: online log 20 thread 4:

处理方法：

Disable Thread <Thread Number> using below command and drop the Logfiles associated to that Thread.

conn / as sysdba

alter database disable thread 4;

alter database drop logfile group ;
