现象：
Selecting a MS SQL Server smalldatetime column using DG4MSQL 12.1.0.1 with gateway parameters:

HS_FDS_TIMESTAMP_MAPPING=CHAR
HS_FDS_DATE_MAPPING=CHAR

fails with error:

SQL> select "col3" from "Date_Test"@DG4MSQL_EMGTW_12101_DB
*
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-28500: connection from ORACLE to a non-Oracle system returned this

message:
[Oracle][ODBC SQL Server Wire Protocol driver]Numeric overflow. Error in column 1. {22003}
ORA-02063: preceding 2 lines from DG4MSQL_EMGTW_12101_DB

原因：
Root cause is a product defect documented/tracked in bug 17757629.


处理方法：
The issue will be fixed in the 12.1.0.2.0 gateway patch set. Backports to the 12.1.0.1 gateway release can be requested from Oracle Support.
