ORA-39264: Cannot alter type of table: string

Cause: DBMS_METADATA_DIFF wascomparing tables of different types:

relational table, object table or XMLType table. There isno SQL ALTER statement

to change a table's type.

Action: The difference cannot beeliminated with an SQL ALTER statement.
